We attended the 36th Annual Turkish American National Leadership Conference in Washington DC on February 25-27, 2016 : In this conference we had the opportunity to listen to experts discuss for ongoing conflicts such as Turkish Israel and Turkish Jewish Relation and Armenian issue and had opportunity to learn new programs designed to improve the relationship between Turkey and The USA . We also watched 1915 Documentary Movie about against Armenian genocide allegation. In addition we listened about how grassroots and political activism work and why it is important , public advocacy, media and voter engagement, Turkish American businesses of success stories, Turkish American successful women stories, and ATAA bright future with online education. ATAA Funds Availability for Lectures
We are pleased to inform you that ATAA has some funds available for lectures on the Armenian issue in May through June 12, 2016. ATAA will cover travel and accommodation expenses of the lecturers as well the expenses for the venue and fliers. If you are interested in setting up and organizing these lectures in your region, please let us know as soon as possible. Below please see the availability of the scholars we contacted.
Prof. Erickson is available on June 12 (expert on Armenian rebellions, military history of Anatolia in early 1900s)
Prof. Chris Gunn is available between May 1-May 16, and May 23-June 12 (expert on Armenian terrorism-early and recent)
